As a child I remember spending my time at Eck Stadium for nearly every home game growing up. I attended baseball camp there every year and the Shockers were my team without a doubt. My family was always SASO and had season tickets for baseball and basketball every year.

My entire family now resides in Texas. After finishing my time in the Marine Corps I joined them there. For years I missed being around Shocker athletics. Last year I began school at Texas State. This has been a very exciting year to be a Bobcat. So far this has been the most successful year the baseball team has ever had (41 wins and counting). It's great to be back around baseball and having a good team to root for.

I still check up on the Shockers when I can. I don't follow them like I used to but I always want them to do well. I know this was a rough season to be a shocker fan but wanted to say congratulations to the Shox and all of you true fans that have stuck with them through the years.

If we happen to meet up in a regional (not likely) I don't know how I would feel. I would probably have to root for my Bobcats but if the Shockers pulled it out I couldn't think of a better team to lose to. You all are the most exciting and rabid fans in all of college baseball.

Good luck wherever you all may end up and hope to see you all on the diamond soon.

      Go Shox.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe we have a historical winning record against anyone in that proposed regional, and THAT really says something.

I'll throw a guess and say Ft.Worth.I see ORU as a 4 seed also so i think they will go to Norman.

That's because everyone in that regional never faces our weekend rotation. We've come close to Arkansas and OU in regional play and dismantled ORU the last time we played them in regional play. Of course that has nothing to do with this year's team... but then again neither do past records.

I personally don't think we're in good position anywhere. Where would be your ideal choice?

                  Can't argue with that.

I don't know about "ideal", but... TCU.

See, I didn't have TCU that high because of the sweep with our weekend starters. Granted, it was early in the year, but I dunno. In terms of weaker No.1 seeds, they would be right there though.

Let's just face it. It's a big crapshoot. Just be happy that we're playing next weekend period.

The key is to not run into an absolute buzzsaw of a #1 starter, granted most 1 seeds have a good #1 but we just need one we can work with.

I'm not sure what the answer is, but we have GOT to get out of the Valley and into a better conference before this pos conference pulls us down into a deep forgotten hole.
