I hope your not having to type all that in. I haven't got a clue as to what you're doing.

So far you've shown me Gene's W-L record & post-season in guiding the Shox baseball team (who comes from a mid-major conference), Dean Smith's record and post-season from basketball, and Papa Joe's record and post-season from football. All legends!

I've never discussed our W-L record, our ability to make the post-season, nor suggesting Gene be replaced (if that's where you're going with this).

I've simply placed for discussion my concern about a seven year downward trend of our offense and how that, if it continues, may impact our future recruiting efforts to an excellent baseball program stuck in a weak mid-major conference. Yes, I find it odd that with our continued great tradition in pitching, we don't seem to attract an equally good overall offense. Don't you?

Well, it isn't only the Shocks who do it.

Tonight Texas, which has a staff ERA of just over two and was of course playing at home, led ORU 4-0 (not just two, but four) going into the 9th and allowed the Miracles to come back and tie it.

The difference was that Texas scored a run in bottom of the ninth -- on a two-out balk (!), which may be why they always play at home -- to pull it out, 5-4.
