Would any of you guys react any different if you were a 18 year old freshman and just beat Arkansas and WSU almost back to back. Especially if you three hit the shockers and shut them out?
Yeah, but I would have not talked smack in front of reporters. In the locker room, around Lawrence, to my family and friends it's all good. Like I said, I'm glad he said this, I'm hoping it will light a fire under these young guns and wake their arse up.
They need to stop sleepwalking out there and start playing like a Shocker and not like Friends University.

Agreed.
All he's gonna get out of it now is some serious ribbing when he makes his appearance in Wichita.
Deuces Valley.

Gee, I certainly hope so. Some kids that age are mature and show class and humility, others don't. It's obvious which group Ridenhour falls into.
Obviously he was very excited to beat the Shockers. He's young, excited, pitched a heck of a game and by "puffing" the way he did, he actually tipped his hat to WSU. Give the guy a "congrats" on pitching a good game, and move on...
It seems to me, the Shockers of the 80s were a little cocky too - which was a good thing. I'd like to see a bit more "puffing" by WSU.
