Sorry to disappoint. Actually grew up in west Wichita while living in the Goddard school district. Now Im living in East Wichita and love it.
Ricky Bobby nailed the definition of the west side. I do like Auburn Hills, but theres not much else around.

What is there to do on the east side that you can't do on the west? Go to Cabela's and get them hunting gear?

I find it disturbing that several on here appear to want or can't wait for ADES to fail, which in turn means that on some level wsu baseball will suffer. Seems sort of anti-shocker to me. Kind of shameful.

Also, why are we freaking out based on information being unsubstantiated and hearsay from a third rate "media" source.

I don't think anybody wants to see anybody fail. I think a few can see some writing on the wall. And there's a large portion out there that thinks everybody's infallible if they're affiliated with Wichita State.

The AD doesn't have a proven track record so people are going to be skeptical.

I haven't done any research on this guy yet, but he could very well be better than hiring a hitting coach from a team that can't hit.
