I am certainly not trying to speak for @SB Shock:, but I wasn't implying that Brent wanted the position. Only that there was some kind of discussion that, in the case of other candidates falling through the cracks, that Brent would "step in" and lead until a suitable replacement could be found, or cultivated, if someone doesn't think a guy like Standiford or Hooper is ready for the left seat. It's just a theory. I'm 100% convinced that Brent wants nothing to do with the big chair.....I'm just speculating that at some point he's a better choice than what's left.

On a nearly exclusive basis, major national chains choose east Wichita for their first and potentially only locations, as do people building 7 figure homes.

The west side isn't boring necessarily, but it is the definition of vanilla, cookie-cutter, urban sprawl. You have a Walmart-anchored retail center that utilizes the cheapest building facades/designs available, and acres upon acres of new homes built to the lowest specifications possible because the market commands nothing more.

Really just stop, You just described all of Wichita, I mean outside of Flint Hills, nothing is that spectacular in any part of the city. You are eerily similar to the KC KU fans on Phog.net talking down on Wichita. Really aren't we over the whole eastside vs. west?

I understand the East vs West argument. I worked at Barriers where people made it to KC more recently than they made it to the west side. Really though, the problem with Wichita is the south side. Then there are the magnetic polls of Park Shitty to the North & Haysville to the South.
