Naw...you obviously didn't watch the game.
It was Nacho Libre (striking resemblance) on the mound for FSU...and old Jack Black was throwing well. When Ucla had the bases loaded and no outs, I thought "oh brother". Then ole Nacho Libre throws three strike outs.

Yeah...I know what ya mean. Maybe I wouldn't have much interest in the CWS if my team wasn't there, I guess. Or my conference mates.
But I will be watching Kent State tonight and cheering those guys on against the mighty SEC....I have always been a fan of the Cinderella teams...

Yeah..it's almost sure that the Seminoles won't win two against Arizona and then beat the team in the Championship game. The wear on pitching will catch up.
It is nice to finish in the final four...but, yeah, it sure would be great to go all the way one time. Still, a great season for a team not picked to win its division. I really don't know how they made it this far with the weak back half of the batting order and two freshmen as weekend pitchers.

Hmmm.... I can think of someone else whose last win was more recent than that. Apparently it's possible to climb out of the abyss after all.
Nice excuse to set your standards.Deuces Valley.
