I don’t hold it against anyone trying to improve their situation, good for them.

However I have borderline zero interest in following/supporting what has become showcase/travel team baseball at the college level. Frankly it’s a terrible product.

There are more ways to show you matter than money. We didn’t do it. We fired all the coaches he came to play for. Everyone else entered the portal. He didn’t.

Sure he got paid, but could have earned a lot more money going somewhere other than where he chose.

But he should still be a Shocker. In my opinion that lands on one person.

Tolle had people in his ear from mid-season on. If it were that easy, he would have entered the portal when everyone else did. He didn’t. So clearly WSU offered something he wanted more than money. And that changed.
