By now there's a decent chance you've heard of the Savannah Bananas. They're a summer college team in the Coastal Plain League that focuses on fun, just as m...

Man I forgot all about that. What were their names? That was a time, man. One of the first years we had season tickets.

As for the recruits.. 6.5/10. Some of them do interest me.

Ole Miss and Miss St (bottom two records of SEC) set the all time baseball attendance for baseball regular season at 16,423.

And before someone else says “We aren’t the SEC”, that is who we are competing against for recruiting and retaining players.
So what do the tickets cost at these schools for basketball and baseball? Could $50.00 for basketball and $10.00 for baseball be the reason for attendance? Is baseball more affordable?

is most of the money made in basketball from attendance or television? NCAA Baseball may be building, but it isn't to the status of basketball yet.

Not sure at all places, but the ones I have been to in SEC (good lower level/field level seats) are $20-$30 for basketball and $25-35 for baseball.

That difference though is driven by secondary market. It is almost impossible to find field level baseball tickets at LSU, Ole Miss, Miss St, Arkansas, and Alabama. Obviously these season tickets are partially driven by desire to earn football points, but they put butts in seats.

I hope we can get Arkansas back on the schedule soon, as I know many Shocker fans who haven’t been in 10 years would enjoy the experience.

                            • That makes it seem unlikely that Kyte is returning, and that sucks, bigly. I hope I'm wrong.
