Snavely doesn't exactly engender a high degree of confidence that he can get the job done consistently. If his he is not commanding his sinker or whatever breaking ball he throws he is very hittable. His fast ball is pretty straight from what I have seen of it and needs to be mostly a show pitch. Hopefully, he finds it in the 2nd.

Really poor job by O'Brien in that spot, as he didn't lift the bat off his shoulder for any of the 3 strikes. Not a good look when you are in the fight of your life for playing time against underclassman Paxton Wallace.

When people start getting hopeful, it seems disappointment is almost inevitable with this staff now.
