Mack had signed an NLI to VCU before Smart left for Texas.

And apparently, after their game the other night he was screaming at Kerwin Roach (former Shocker recruit) as they left the floor.

After seeing the classlessness of Seventh Woods and the drama at Texas with a former recruit, I'm glad things worked out the way they did.

If Joey Rodriguez doesn't get a ticky-tack foul call in the final seconds of the game against VCU here in Wichita, and we win that game, VCU most likely doesn't make the tournament that year. I wonder what Shaka's career would be like now if that foul call never happened?

He'd literally still be at VCU, never having been even considered for Texas. Therefore, bad officiating may have actually ruined Shaka Smart's career :) The logic is flawless.

Oh and Marshall would have 2 Final Fours.

Because he was fashionable with the fans. Texas deserves him. Texas football, Texas basketball and Texas baseball are irrelevant but they have their own network.

Yes, Marshall would be an NIT title short, but better in the NCAA...he'd also probably be at Texas right now.
