Or is this not an integrity issue, but a person that intended to go live with that video no matter what -- because -- maybe he had an agenda?

When I questioned him about it, SHOXMVC threatened to record the occurrence on some form of video medium. Now I just need some time to figure out who SHOXMVC is and what should go in the bracketed variables as to somehow make this exchange even MORE offensive to me when it occurred.

maybe Jans got hosed, but it is 100% his fault. he is a grown man who put himself in that position. Am I the only one who believes you take your medicine and don't play the blame game?“Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.”

My original spot reading missed some context, and my day of dealing withe middle school knuckleheads probably clouded my judgment, but please be careful folks as you proceed. This is likely to be a very heated topic for many reasons, and with what I thought I saw it appeared to be diving into personal attacks. Agreed
He made one big ass mistake and is and will continue to pay for it, dearly!
But any of you finger pointing J.O's on here who can claim to be absolutely perfect need to step forward and identify yourself for all to see.
We all want to see the next Jesus in person cause the other one hasn't scheduled any public appearances I am aware of.
Most of the finger pointers casting stones here are the same ones that made complete asses of themselves the past 3 days.
That is all.Above all, make the right call.

Yes his fault. And Yes, I don't agree with any decision he made that night....
BUT... As a WSU Ast. Coach...
No problems what so ever and a brought same major talents... Example... That guy.. number 31... whats his name again? Baker something?
Bring him back and with this contract add stipulations about content and context outside the court. Get errr done.**FEAR THE WHEAT**

I think there is a difference between finger pointing and identifying that this is inexcusable behavior. We all know similar events happen nightly across the country but fair or not, he is held to a higher standard. I am surprised at the number of people that think he could ever coach at WSU again in any capacity. What if this was a former KU assistant or Creighton assistant? We can question the motive of the family that reported it, question some of the events, but obviously the school didn't want to fire him and felt they had no choice.
Also, this doesn't look like a setup, it appears they witnessed bad behavior, pulled out a phone and started recording. Then when the daughter approached Jans, the recording stopped as others from both sides probably got involved. I think everyone is lucky it didn't escalate further and I think a letter to the AD/President was justified. Calling someone's daughter, sister, girlfriend a b**** when she is doing the right thing and calling out d-bag behavior is never a good idea and usually ends in a physical altercation.
EDIT: And I agree with KC Shox. There should have been some member of Jans party that was sober enough to realize this was getting out of hand. When the young lady approached, he should have stepped in, told her she is right this unacceptable, and assured her he (coaches friend) would handle it, apologized on coaches behalf, and got him the hell out of there!Last edited by shockfan89_; April 3, 2015, 03:17 AM.
