Wildcat Way???

What's really important is that the Wildcats will be at home watching us play in March.

What would be much better would be for the Wildcats to be at home watching us plays in March after having played us in March!

Michael O'Donnell (city councel member) was just on Sports Daily commenting on this. Renaming a street was one of the stipulations that the promoter had for having the K State game at IBA. He commented this promoter was more "agressive" than the promoter for the WSU game. He also stated that they are already looking at doing something for a WSU game next year if they play at IBA.

Since WSU is in town, they don't necessarily have to wait and "look at doing something for a WSU game next year IF they play at IBA".

I am certain that the game generated more revenue than taking my Christmas shopping on line and outside of Wichita proper but I am glad I voted with feet and wallet. Go Shocks!

I went to an event at Intrust Bank Arena and couldn't find any parking on Wildcat Way. I turned left onto Brad Paisley Boulevard but still found no open parking. Another left onto Royal Lipizzan Stallion Strasse only to lose out to a VW Beetle. Left once again onto Sesame Street proved fruitless and by the time I got back to Wildcat Way the City had renamed it Thunder Road.............recalculating.
