I'm of the opinion that any school is allowed to pilfer another school's coach but once. While not directly, USC has already used their one transfer.

Ok then. Nothing to worry about. Actually nothing to worry about anyway since it is an uncontrollable. We just have to keep doing our thing which is supporting the Shocks to the best of our abilities and let the chips fall where they may.

According to this article Horn's buyout is $2.4 million.

USC had a very young team so they might give Horn 1 more year to see if he can get things going. However, he would seem to be a lame duck coach without a contract extension and that could really hamstring him on the recruiting trail.

The smartest thing SIU could do is find a way to pay Weber, which means they'll go find another Purdue asst.

ESPN said that Shaka Smart would probably be offered the Illinois job account close to AD. Also was said that Bruce Weber had already been offered SIU job.

I wouldn't mind seeing Weber back at SIU. It may have been ugly, but that was one hell of a strong program he had. The better the teams are in this conference the more money we all get and the better prepared we are for March.

Whoever they get, I hope he can pull them out of the hell they've fallen into.

Weber is going to get 1.3 million every year for 3 years from Illinois. I think he has the ability to take a pay cut at SIU.

Sadler fired from Nebraska. He won't be out of a job long.

If SMU were smart they'd can Dougherty and get Sadler.

I'm surprised that Dougherty has struggled as much as he has. I know SMU isn't the easiest situation but I'd have expected better.

I think Marshall stays with us, but I thought Horn's pay out was $3 million. We will see soon enough but due to $$ fair chance Horn stays another year to see how his recruits develop. Of course there might be an announcement of his firing before I get this posted.
