Old age setting in! Memory lapses.

I struggled with this when I first saw it. My faith tells me it's not an "if" so the author seemingly doesn't have faith. But then far be it from me to question the faith of a person that's lived, or died, in perhaps the worst atrocity of mankind.


Yesterday one of my daughter's very best friends passed away without notice. There is no explanation, no rationalization, no reason, no excuse for a normal teenager, one who is polite, friendly, courteous, hard working, loving and good to everyone, to be taken from this Earth.


I'm not strong enough or whatever it is that would be needed, to demand forgiveness, but in times like these, it can seem like faith doesn't explain everything.


I am reminded of all the good people that have lost loved ones, just on this fine forum over the years. It seems like most of them don't make sense. Perhaps none of them make sense to the people that care about them.

I understand there is a circle of life, and that we're here for just a brief period to His work.

I am neither due nor am I deserving of an explanation.......but one would certainly help.
