Here's another KU response from a staffer, although the website misrepresents the encounter with the SJW, stating that they over ran the YAF meeting. In actuality they were invited to debate the matter.

As a self-proclaimed liberal, and someone who is more likely to become worked up about perceived racism/sexism/etc.-ism than many others on this board, I think the safe-space movement is really harmful to our society. I believe institutional racism exists, I believe it's probably okay to be politically correct, and I think tolerance is important. And I'm very unhappy with how many of these naive safe space advocates there appear to be. They're harmful to my personal ideals, and the ideals of the left in general, I think.
But to act like "the left" has abandoned their values of tolerance and open-mindedness because of a small group of people is the same as saying every Trump supporter is obviously a racist because David Duke and some other racists are going to vote for Trump.

Every liberal I know. There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
