Here's another graph I just dug up, that takes population growth into account.

Weird. More people. More guns. More guns per people. Yet ... less gun crimes per people.

The question is, will we do the right thing to keep terrorists and terrorist sympathizers from invading, and stop being sidetracked with the anti-gun debate that has now been put to rest right here on Shockernet?

Speaking of guns and no-fly lists, the Connecticut governor has now decided he can unilaterally deny someone's Constitutional rights without due process.

So if you are on the no fly list and you already own a gun, what do you do? Can you keep it? Is it confiscated or do you sell it. And if the state allows you to sell it, to whom do you sell. If the state confiscate the gun, are you reimbursed? I have lots more questions.

Not to get into an abortion debate (or even really a gun debate, either) ... but I buy the idea that the legalization of abortion is the cause of the fall in firearm crime far more than I buy that more firearms caused the reduction in firearm crimes.

That's not an argument for anything, on any side, of any of those debates, but just an assessment of the data.
