Ben Carson has spoken about four times now. Ridiculous.

I've liked Carson, Kasich, Paul, and Rubio.

I like flat tax/fair tax. I wish it was a real possibility.

What an uninspiring field. Not exactly a newsflash but my goodness.

Hmmm. I actually like this pool of candidates. I'm impressed by more of them than I thought I would be. An astute group, overall.

I interestingly have great solutions to nearly all of these questions. It's a pity more people don't listen to me.

So Carly probably gets a decent bump after tonight, Trump remains in the permaspotlight, Carson treads water, Rubio maybe also gets a slight bump, Jeb continues to subsist at a relevant level, and everyone else continues the descent into irrelevancy as fundraising withers?

Kasich probably also grabbed market share amongst the moderates but we all know that is a death sentence in primaries.

If one of them get nominated, Paul and maybe Trump will get my consideration.

                  I like Paul's policies okay, but...eh. I like Rubio.

It's a little over a year until the election, but as things stand now, get ready for President Trump.

He's saying things people like to hear. He couldn't give a rat's ass about political correctness. He has no political record to attack. He's a political outsider. Pretty much everything the voters are looking for and nothing for traditional political processes to attack.

My concern with Trump is his lack of diplomacy. Sure, say the things others aren't willing to say, but be able to balance that. And then there's his complete lack of a foreign policy. Just assembling a "great team" (or whatever his words were) and spending the next year to get up to speed on what's going on in the world isn't very reassuring. Right now we need someone who is solid in both domestic and foreign policy. We're not in the 90's anymore.

I'm a big fan of Paul - and will continue to be, but Rubio impressed me tonight.

Don't be fooled by Chris Christie. He licks his finger and puts it into the political wind to develop a debate strategy.

Fiorina had a good showing, but all I really heard from her was high-level identification of the problems. Not much there in the way of dealing with those problems. Her platform tonight was mostly sound-bites.

I'm not sure what to think of Carson. Intelligent and a super nice guy, but his persona is just too calm for my tastes. He needs to find some fire in his belly.

The others . . . Bush is awful. Kasich, Walker, Huck and Cruz were just, eh.

Right now, Paul and Rubio are the only ones I could get behind.

Carly Fiorina won last night imo. She reminds me of The Iron Lady, Margaret Thatcher. She knows foreign policy as well or better than anyone and was quick on her feet. Her answer to Trumps crass, sophomoric statement regarding her face was classic. I need to hear more about her economic vision. Others last night were good too but she was best. I was not impressed with Trump as compared with the others last night. I thought Rubio, Christie, Bush, huckaby, and Kasich all did well. Trump going after Rand Paul's looks is an example of what worries me about him. He went after him with an insult that had no substance. He sounds like a middle school adolescent sometimes.

Huckabee wasn't bad, but I'm not a fan of his politics. Cruz came off as a politician to me and nothing more. Paul was super mediocre, but I like his politics. Carson seemed more like an advisor than a leader. Fiorina was okay. I can see where some thought she won, but she didn't win my vote. I like Christie, but not sure about his politics. Jeb was boring. Rubio was the only candidate that I could get behind as far as ideas, policies, knowledge, and excitement.

Trump acted like he was hosting a reality show. He was often good for a laugh, but that's it.

McCain or Romney wouldn't make the main stage.

This is the best it's been in decades.

Cruz idiocy isn't hard to spot if you're even halfway smart, but kudo's to you for catching it so quickly. Cruz is a one-trick pony. Watch him try to shut the federal government down again this fall over the Planned Parenthood free-for-all.

Also note that Fiorina, in addition to her well-documented crashing of HP (and loss of 30K jobs) is that she also crashed Lucent, so she's 2 for 2.
