I wonder why people who believe in macro evolution and natural selection even have a problem with global warming anyway. None of us will be around long enough to see the terrible fate that apparently awaits us and any version of humanity that evolves through the changes will have to be better versions of ourselves anyway right?

I just thought of a plot for a movie.

What if a villain bent on natural selection nuked the ice caps?

I started out this election in favor of Rubio. Though I'm not at the point of writing Rubio off, I do find myself favoring Carson as I go on. I also originally was under the opinion that Carson would be a great VP, and I believe that to be the case to this day but am becoming less resistant to him as a Presidential Candidate. If you haven't already, I encourage you to watch a movie based on his life called "Gifted Hands"

I am a professing Evangelical Christian who is a political Conservative through and through. However, I am not blind to the fact this nation is quite divided. I am increasingly convinced that Carson would be a great uniting force for America without wavering from many key issues that he and I happen to agree on.

However, it does concern me how inexperienced he could be on matters such as foreign policy. But we've seen over again that being a politics doesn't make you skilled in foreign policy. Kind of like sitting in a cookie jar doesn't make you an Oreo. I'm entertained by the GOP's fascination with candidates with little to no political experience. However, Carson I believe is on another level than those like Trump. He can respectfully call out the errors of others ways while offering sensible solutions to the challenge.
"Ralph Miller was one of the finest coaches in the history of intercollegiate basketball. His teams were always fundamentally sound, team oriented, well conditioned, and ran both their offense and defense with great patience. I know of no coach whose teams competed against his, whether it be at Wichita State, Iowa, or Oregon State, who did not have great respect for him."—John Wooden

I agree with this. I'd like to see Carson as one part of a tandem but I'm not so sure who I want to be the other just yet.

I like to joke that if we go with the black conservative neuro-surgeon along with the Latin Canadian who looks like he might be a female (looks like Jean Ralphio's sister on Parks & Rec), how can you lose? :)

The only thing NOT there is a corrupt, rich, white man so it should be a lock. I guess if you're into that, there's always trump...

Any bets on how much CNN tries desperately to minimize Carson's air time?

That is the sad part. Competent, not a nutjob, intelligent, near bulletproof.

                  Don't let anyone see him!
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

My wife was watching Gift Hands on Netflix when I arrived home last night. I caught the last 45 minutes of the movie. I was not aware of this movie but thought the portion I saw was very good. When I get time I will watch it from the beginning. Regardless of you thoughts about Dr. Carson politically I think you would enjoy this movie.

I missed the first 20 minutes. Did they ask Carson anything?

Nah. They just asked Trump to respond to all the horrible things the other Republicans have said about him.
