I'm not, nor was I, a huge Herman Cain supporter; however there's no denying that he had begun to gain traction among "rank and file" Republicans leading up to the 2012 election, then miraculously went down in a ball of flames after the sexual harassment claims surfaced.

Per the outsider comment, like Cain, Carson is a professional, and not professional as "professional lobbyist/insider/policitian". I lump Fiorina into this camp, hell, even Trump, regardless of his visibility to most Americans.
When does an elected official, who wasn't already a lawyer or in politics, become an insider?

Rand Paul was a doctor before running for his current senate seat. I wouldn't call him an insider now just because he got elected.

Valid question. I would say anyone who hasn't held a professional role outside of politics or lobbying would be considered an insider in my book. Don't be fooled by people who go to law school only to become lobbyists either.

I like Ben Carson. As with some others, the lack of experience is a bit concerning to me, and I would personally prefer him as a VP candidate for a more experienced President. However, the lack of executive political experience is going to be an issue with almost any candidate worth anything at this point. It's not a very experienced field.

Carson is on the move up. Fiorina had a bump, but is softening. Bush is faltering. Trump remains steady but can't breakout (yet).

Which raises the question of who are the Trump supporters? I don't believe I know of any, but he is apparently the #1 alternative to Hillary at this point, in some weird, hellish, alternate reality that those two might become the lone respective options (shudder). Are Trump supporters actually ashamed to admit such?

Good question. I don't know any either, but I know a LOT of people that would vote for Trump in 2 seconds flat if it was him against Clinton. In fact, they will vote for ANYBODY against Clinton. :)

It does appear the tide is turning though. Carson and Trump are both tied at 23% in Iowa's Monmouth University Poll: http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/ar...niversity-poll

Will be interesting to watch @SB Shock:'s poll samples over the next several weeks.

I pay no attention to Miley Cyrus. What happened last night?

                        Uh no.

"And people say, 'Well, you believe the earth is 6,000 years old.' I didn't say I believe the earth is 6,000 years old. I do believe in the Bible though. The Bible says 'In the beginning God created the heaven and the Earth,' period. Now we don't know how long lapsed between that period and the next sentence. It could have been five years, it could have been 50 billion years. We don't know the answer to that," he continued. "But I tell you something else: God is God, and He can create the world any age He wants to. It is very arrogant for any scientist to say, just because they can't explain it, it doesn't exist."

Yeah, he must be an uneducated dumb-dumb.

You liberals have really funny ways to communicate what could otherwise be conveyed with far less words and blood pressure by simply saying "I disagree with so-and-so, or such-and-such." I guess it must be part of the whole mental revelation that is "open-mindedness" and "tolerance" that I have thus far missed out on in this here life. Darn.

I read that was his belief. I appreciate knowing his answer. Very few people agree with the new age earth, so didn't think it was necessary to make that statement.
