Corinne Griffith - Regarded as one of, if not the, most beautiful actress of the 20's silent film era and received a nomination for best actress of 1929. She did over 60 pictures between 1916-1932, mostly silent film. Not limited to acting, she was also a successful film producer and writer. She wrote her memoir, Daddy's Delicate Condition, which was made into a movie in 1952. While not successful with marriage (4 divorces), she did have a head for business and real estate. At the time of her death in 1979, had amassed an estate of $150 million.
