Mari Blanchard - One might call her "Hard Luck Mari". While she did appear in 62 movies and TV guest star, her life seemed filled with bad luck. Here's where to find her bio - Mari Blanchard - IMDb. Her last role of note was as the cheerful and likeable town madam in the 1963 John Wayne western comedy "McLintock!". Sometime that year, Mari Blanchard developed the cancer which was to later claim her life in 1970 at the age of just 47.
