House: 120 Decomcrafts, 180 Republicans (218 for control)

Kelly is Smoking Schmidt in Sedgwick county with 41% of the counted. If Schmidt can't win Sedgwick county to counter the KC area - she easily get reelected.

Kelly was always going to win. No surprise here.

Just another data point that Kansas is going BLUE

She should not win, especially after what she did to schools during COVID

        • Yeah, but she was always going to beat Schmidt

Frustrating, but it is what it is.

            • Schmidt, Kobach, Brownback all do a good job of presenting as the angry white male that the left claim portrays the entire Republican Party. Until that bunch gets pushed aside, any Democrat void of scandal will win.

The Kansas amendment to Amend state constitution to authorize state lawmakers to suspend rules enacted by the executive branch - is losing big

Kansas voters like a powerful Executive branch. The bigger problem to me is that in our federal system, our country, in the past 150 years, also have given the Executive branch (President) more power (Biden currently) than they should have. Elected representatives should have more power than our one President, and his 1 Million federal workers (Executive agencies). Our state of Ks. Is following the lead of states like California, New York, and Illinois in having large powerful state agencies instead of lean one’s.

Republicans keep putting up garbage candidates and that’s what’ll happen

                        Nope. Not at all.

Youre making the same mistake that you did with the abortion amendment.

Maybe, but the Republicans who were in Kelly’s commercial (Graves, Mike Hayden, etc) were all out of the Elite, liberal Republican class of leaders. They will drive the Unionized, liberal, public school agenda of sex education, trans kids using bathrooms, and locker rooms of the opposite gender, porn in schools, Critical Race Theory, 1619 Racism project, etc. instead of those in Kansas who want our schools to focus on Reading, and STEM curriculum. Our schools will continue to suffer and test scores will continue to suffer imo.

These Governors (Hayden, Graves, etc ) are no Glenn Youngkin who will fight the liberal public school Unions in Kansas. They were similar to Kelly when it comes to liberal public schools.
