It's hard to say if wrong polls equate to voter suppression. Had they been more accurate would more Republicans have been encouraged to vote, or would more Dims? Perhaps it would be a wash.

They just need to be accurate.

But people are private, phone numbers aren't listed in the white pages any longer, and internet polls are unreliable. I would say they should just stop doing polls altogether, but that won't happen.

The most important poll everybody should be watching right now is the stock market - which is going ape-**** over the Biden victory. That makes no sense to a Capitalist, but... "let's see what happens".
Divided government, R’s keep the senate and much less economic lib chaos can put into play.

      That too!

But the market wants a stimulus package passed and believes it will happen with Biden.

It's been roaring for 3 days.

        • Looking like Biden will overtake President Trump in Georgia. If that happens it is pretty much over unless Trump can reverse a result in court and I don't see that happening.

Also both Senate seats in Georgia appear to be heading to a runoff so no guarantee the Republican candidates will prevail in those races, so the Democrats still have a shot at a 50-50 split in the Senate with Kamala Harris holding the tiebreaking vote. Those runoff elections don't happen until January 5th. How comfortable are you that those elections will be above board.

GOP feels good about these seats -- no early voting and- I THINK- no mail in ballots for runoffs. Those are solid red Senate seats, honestly, and it was be VERY suspicious if both flipped. I imagine Dems will try and get early voting approved, but even so, turnout will be a fraction of what it was for the general election.

            • In the first update this morning from Nevada Biden extended his lead to nearly 12k votes. 12% still yet to report.

Well done sir! And that my friends is the best example of bipartisanship.

                  That’s less than 1%

Yes, but 60% of the time it works every time.

Still, it went 50% in the wrong direction (8k to 12k), and it sounds like a significant number of the ballots left to count are from Clark County, which I believe leans Democrat.

However, Nevada sent out ballots to all voters. During the Primary elections, 10% were sent to the wrong address. If 10% were sent to the wrong address again, this could put possibly 200 Thousand additional illegal votes into the system.

Make that roaring for 4 days now.

                            Weird.

Maybe it's all about the calm after the election. Things are playing out in a way that is conducive to calm which is good. Methodical if not boring.
