Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden says he’d follow the advice of scientists about whether he’d get a coronavirus vaccine if one became available before November’s presidential election.

Biden, Trump clash over coronavirus vaccine

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden says he’d follow the advice of scientists about whether he’d get a coronavirus vaccine if one became available before November’s presidential election, as President Trump tore into the Democratic ticket over vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris's recent comments on the issue.

“I would want to see what the scientists said,” the former vice president told reporters Monday of a vaccine after speaking with supporters during a stop in Lancaster, Pa.

Biden also emphasized he’d welcome an effective vaccine regardless of the consequences to his campaign.

“If I could get a vaccine tomorrow I’d do it,” he stressed. “If it cost me the election I’d do it. We need a vaccine and we need it now.”
If he keeps talking like that I could **** around and do something really crazy November, 3rd.

Koch and Co. will likely flood the GOP coffers like never before if Biden got elected which would assure us the House back.

Lindsey Graham said that Biden was one of the most liked people in Washington (both sides of the aisle). This is probably why they picked the demented fellow. The Never Trumpers aren't going to come out in support of him, but they won't do anything to impede his campaign either.

I think I kinda like Biden. If his comment about the vaccine is genuine, he is a helluva guy. Can anybody produce a substantive argument that his support of the radical left agenda is just lip service and he'll slide back to a more Clinton-esque political stance after the election?

Biden is just part of the swamp. He has come out on all sides of every issue and will change his stance on a whim if it helps him politically. Anita Hill is a perfect example for how h3 changes his stances. The ruling Republican elites love him because they are just like him. Now Anita Hill says she will vote for him because her attack of Justice Thomas was just political stunt.

Trump is part of the swamp too. He may end up being the biggest swamp creature after it's all said and done. He likely coined the term for misdirection. Trump is really good at Pied Piper of the lowest common denominator.

What a guy. A guy who's gonna lose (or can't be president for more than 6 months anyway) wishing a vaccine in exchange for a hypothetical outcome that will never happen. What a guy.

I will gladly sacrafice my life for a cure for cancer.

        See how that works?

        Its not hard.

If it means that I will never be President, I am willing to wear a mask; or not wear one, whatever moves the needle.

Not to mention having the Democrat V-P nominee state how very proud she is of you.

Joe Biden Is Not a Decent Man

Joe Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee to face off against Donald Trump in the general election. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and many other so-called ‘progressives’ have endorsed him. Sanders has even gone so far as to call him a “decent man” — but Joe Biden is anything but.

After the longest primary election in history, Bernie Sanders dropped out of the race to be the Democratic nominee last week. This means that, at long last, Joe Biden has become the Democratic nominee against Donald Trump. Joe Biden is among the most right-wing candidates in the Democratic field, with a long record of terrible political positions. Additionally 20% of Sanders supporters say that they aren’t sure if they will vote for Biden in the general. This comes in spite of Sanders calling Biden a “very decent man” and giving him a full-throated endorsement in which he claimed that it was “irresponsible” not to vote for him.

This is creating a situation of great pressures for socialists who are refusing to vote for Biden. The argument that many are making goes that to not vote for Biden is to vote for Trump and, even though he opposes essentially everything that socialists believe in, he is the ‘lesser evil’ and thus a vote for him is to choose the lesser evil and practice harm reduction.

This argument of ‘lesser evilism’ is a common one that is trotted out at every election. But Biden makes the flaws of this theory extremely clear: he is a bigot, an ally to capital, and very much not a ‘decent man.’ He doesn’t deserve our vote and we shouldn’t give it to him. Of course, we socialists are on the front line of fighting against Donald Trump and his imperialism and his anti-immigrant, racist, misogynistic, and anti-LGBTQ+ policies, but Joe Biden, another candidate who will continue U.S. imperialism and oppress the working class and most oppressed, is not not the solution and is also actively opposed to the project of socialism. Voting for him won’t reduce harm. Instead, we need to organize to fight both Trump and Biden.

Biden will absolutely cow-tow to the leftist radical agenda. A) He has never shown the ability to have his own thoughts, he always follows others B) The pressure the left radicals will put on him (including his VP who will actually be leading the agenda) will be WAY too much for Hiden Biden to handle.

You know it's kind of funny how Biden and Kamala were once considered quite tough on crime. Can a tiger change its stripes after middle-age?

Kamala Harris’ work as a prosecutor during California’s lock-'em-up era has made it harder for her to sell her presidential candidacy to voters wary of the state’s high rate of imprisoning people of color.
