Joe didn't get a single vote. Not-Trump did.
Originally posted by C0|dB|00ded View PostRead an article that clearly laid out the Dim's strategy in the presidential election. Essentially they want Biden/Harris to be a referendum vote on Trump. They don't want anything about Biden or Harris on the mind of the voter which is why their campaign is so low key and Biden stays trapped in the basement. They want no image of the Dim ticket in your mind, only an avenue by which you can vote Trump out of office.
It's a pretty slick strategy as the more I learn about Biden, the less I would ever be willing to vote for him. I was just listening to a podcast last night when they reiterated the fact that he will be 78 Nov., 20th. Just hearing that fact out loud turned me off. You see, anybody can be a referendum vote, but the more unimpactful the alternative, the better. With someone like Hillary, you get a negative reaction and you start comparing the two candidates. The Dims don't want you comparing Biden with Trump and they've carefully orchestrated their campaign to facilitate that goal. Few interviews and public appearances, with little discussion about policy. They just want voters to choose between the irritating orange man, and this guy named Joe. If there ever was a candidate who couldn't raise the temperature in a room with a megaphone and a flame-thrower, Joe would be your guy. The dementia just makes him even more absent.
If they could have legally put up a candidate named, "your name here", they would have. Joe Biden, the useful idiot. Brilliant!
And they look like they're gonna pull it off.

From the article:
Although the protests began peacefully, some clashes between individuals occurred. According to the New York Times, a man who answered a protestor's calls of "Black lives matter" with phrases including "all lives matter" and "white lives matter" was hit with a bat.
Of course the man who swung the bat should have charges brought against him.

Regardless of what BLM has politically evolved to be; going up to a black BLM protester and saying "All Lives Matter" or "White Lives Matter" is disrespectful and trolling.

I say, dude came to a protest looking to get batted, and he achieved his goal.

Seriously, there is more **** that Biden has said that is racist than Trump ever had. If the media asked Joe as many times as Trump has been asked and got the normal Joe response, and then manipulated his bumbling responses, it wouldn't even be a question of him being a racist. Biden did a eulogy for a KKK member FFS. If you believe Joe is not a racist, you are a fool. He is the kind of racist that believes that black people are just inferior to him and are nothing but a political tool to be manipulated for votes in order to keep him in office and in the Washington grift game. He doesn't even believe in the principal that black people are capable of individual thought. Just like most democrats. Their racism is the basis for why they believe IDs to vote are racists. They don't believe minorities are capable of getting IDs. Joe and most of these old 50 year in office democrats are the worst kind of racists. They have used them to garner their votes for all this time and haven't done anything, nor ever wanted to do anything to improve their lives. You know why? Because when blacks get successful they may become Republicans. When blacks work for themselves, they may become Republicans. When blacks think for themselves, they may become Republicans. And that can't happen, you see. They need blacks to stay dependent on democrats and the government. That's the racism.

I will also say that Joe is the worst kind of racist because he can actually affect their lives as a politician. The redneck in the woods sitting on his front porch watching TV calling Obama the N word all the time has zero impact on their lives. But, yes, let's focus our ire on that dumbass as opposed to a political party that demands complete loyalty based on your skin color."When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!

That's because nobody thinks Joe's a racist. What percentage of the minority vote did he get versus Trump?
You see, this whole "Joe is a racist" narrative is called political propaganda and you slurped it all up. It's designed to take heat off Trump by presenting both candidates as a little racially insensitive. It wasn't a very effective strategy.

Kinda curious if you are really that ignorant, of if you are just being flippant.
Joe is an old school racist. He recognizes human dignity and human rights, but also believes that minorities don’t have agency. This is what W referred to as the soft bigotry of low expectations. Additionally, Joe conflates race and culture, and because he believes that all CULTURES are equal, he sees no issue with the lack of agency. It is a cultural phenomenon.
This old school racism has found new champions in Critical Race Theory, and it’s why Asians and Cuban Latinos are white adjacent, and why it’s okay to be racist towards conservative ethnic minorities. The Theorists embrace Racial identity as cultural identity and look at how certain cultural characteristics lend themselves to certain outcomes on average. These disparities are then characterized as systemic racial inequality.Livin the dream

Actually, saying that to a white person that hates blacks because of their color would be appropriate. Dangerous, but appropriate.
Going up to a black person who is protesting because their best friend just got shot by a cop; AND THEY FEEL like they don't get a fair shake when it comes to interactions with cops relative to other races/minorities, and telling them "all lives matter"/"white lives matter" is insensitive, tacky, trolling, and... most likely dangerous.
It could also be construed as racist. I've had many racists come up to me and say "All Lives Matter". They say it as an act of defiance and dismission to another group who actually have a legitimate complaint in many cases. Racists are just upset over the fact that blacks are getting attention. They haven't reflected for one second on what it feels like to be black and pulled over by a cop.
Listen, I've had many conversations with cops, and some are very racist. Call it an occupational hazard from working the bad beats, but it is a reality... This one dude I was talking too many years ago said he chooses the toughest beats because he just loves giving it to those n***ers. Another guy called black female officers he shared a classroom with in academy, hood rats. I don't know what percentage of police officers are racist, but I can assure you it's higher than you will ever admit.

But back to the racist angle: "All lives matter" and "welfare is just modern-day slavery" are very popular rallying cries from people who essentially hate blacks and have zero interest in actually seeing things change.
When Trump emphasized law and order and his support of cops during protests that originated from blacks being shot by cops, it resonated greatly with racists, and was repulsive to most blacks. That is where you find your "truth". Who do the words embolden, and who do they hurt.
Then you sprinkle in "good people on both sides", which was ridiculous to say no matter how you parse it, "stand by and stand back" (to the proud boys), and it's very easy for a black person to say Trump is racist. Joe Biden would never even come close to saying those things. This is why no intellectually truthful person would call Biden a racist, and why many would call Trump one. Trump is like one massive dog whistle. It might have been an election strategy and had nothing to do with his own personal feelings, because he needed the white racist vote to win. But we'll never really know.
I personally believe that Trump, like all massively rich white dudes, feels he's above blacks in every way. But he also may feel he is above all people. His attitude and mouth allows him to be painted in many negative lights. But again, the truth is found in the people his words hurt.

That's the only category where you can call him "racist", but it's very technical, semantic and less condemnable. Republicans call Democrats racist because they say Dims enslave the African Americans by giving them excessive public support (welfare). Yes, you can make that argument, but it's not going to resonate with the millions of impoverished blacks that rely on said assistance. This is why Biden got 80% of the black vote (Hillary got 82%).
