Johnson was, and a hell of a lot more authoritarian, Nixon was actually a great president that made a minor mistake and got crucified for it. See Obama/Trump. Kennedy was a terrible president that stumbled on a mine of information and Johnson had him killed.

When Trump got in office he declassified a ton of JFK docs. That was the first thing he wanted to see. Documents released had references to the Argentinian Nazi presence and their search for Hitler (Israel also believed Hitler was in South America), the King assassination, as well as the JFK assassination. They are a fascinating read. There were several reddit threads dedicated to combing through the dump and linking to interesting articles.
