These here are nice respectful Democrat kids.

Meanwhile, Mayor Wheeler is only worried about Politics and the Trump campaign using video of the riots to win an election. He’s not concerned about his elderly citizens being attacked by Antifa. Wheeler is one fine human being.

Shockm, make no doubt about it, these are not kids and they are not Dems. They see themselves as revolutionary Socialists.

While all of this is very disturbing, more so the neighborhoods. I noticed that among the men trying to help the lady and her home, that one was black. This is no longer about BLM. It never was for these idiots. It would not take much to start a neighborhood battle ground. People can only be pushed so far when it involves their homes and family.

Unfortunately, controlling these delinquents will have to come from the Dems and Socialist Dems leaders. They absolutely will not listen to anyone else (if even them). They have been given too much line and now smell "blood" in the water. Weak-kneed mayors and governors are also to blame for this.

Are you sure? There are connections to Democratic Socialists, Bernie, and perhaps the squad. I"m not saying that everyone who protests are a part of the Socialists and Antifa. I'm just saying that in the Northwest and other parts of the country, there are more connections to Socialism and Antifa than most people realize.

The wording of Resolution 9 seemed simple enough, coming in at just over 100 words.
“Be it therefore resolved, DSA will create a national working group dedicated to antifascist organizing, tasked with the following duties:
      • Providing information and instruction to help DSA members to disrupt fascist organizing in their region,
      • Providing resources and trainings to help DSA chapters ensure security at their meetings and events,
      • Investigate the feasibility of providing a secure online platform for antifascist organizing across DSA chapters,
      • Coordinating antifascist praxis with existing antifascist and community defense groups; and
Be it finally resolved, the National Antifascist Working Group will have a process for interested DSA members to apply and join, that will assess whether they jeopardize the security of the other group members or the antifascist community at large.”

Resolution 9 only required a simple majority vote and narrowly passed. Not exactly a "ringing endorsement" for disavowing Antifa's violence. There is a connection that will only grow over time.

Nothing in that changes my mind in the least. Bernie is the closest (and only) nationally recognized candidate with any cred. However, Bernie has little real power IMHO. The Dems may give him a pat on the head and throw him a fish or two, but that's to just get his and even harder left leaning votes.

Elections are still won by the middle 40% of voters. It is not Trump's policies that is hurting him with this middle group. What he "is" made a popular TV show. When he pulls those antics of attitude and tweets with voters on the fence, it does not go over well.

I believe that if you throw out anyone from the moderate right to the far right and just look at those moderately left and further left, you'd find Antifa on the far left of that spectrum and representing small numbers compared to the total.

Add: While it did pass by one vote and was not exactly a ringing endorsement for disavowing Antifa actions, it is also not a ringing endorsement for Antifa actions by the nation's farthest left block either.

26 percent of Dems are for Bernie. When more than 1/4 of Dems are far left (Dem. Socialists) and probably 15% of those support Antifa, there is a problem with both of those numbers and with the Democrat Party. This change has happened with lightning speed in the past decade. The “Fringe” are now called “Progressives” (used to be called moderates). Bernie and the Squad now have 25 percent of the Democrat Party and a lot of seats and influence in the Democrat Party and Antifa enjoys support from a growing portion of that Wing. If you’re not concerned about what’s coming soon, you should be.

            Never said I wasn't concerned. I am!

            • These raging socialists are no doubt a faction of the Democratic Party. As much as they would like everyone to believe that these are outsiders, they are not. They are a radical faction, but they are part of the Dem Party.

Reminds me of the movie ‘Gangs of New York’, right down to the beat of the background sound effects. Just need some ‘dead rabbits’. Might get as brutal as that if the Antifa retreaters try to hold their ground and the cops continue to lay low.
