This will be huge for the city of Wichita. As I have gotten older it has become so obvious how adventageous a technical degree can be compared to your average "psych" major. A tech grad can walk out the door ready for employment, the other not so much. Like the previous poster said, removing some of the stigma of WATC by placing it under the WSU flag will be a tremendous boost to potential students. The more grads that WATC/WSU can crank out, the better for the city and region. Not to mention, having another 3000 students paying athletic fees is always a good thing. ;)

Interesting question. I know at some places there is a tier type of cost per hour based on the academic focus...engineers and business types paid more per hour than the liberal arts and fine arts types. Other disciplines were rated for expected income after graduation.

I hope that they are putting in adequate elevators. I do not like walking up and down a flight of stairs. If not, they are just wasting their time.

"The pay-to-park garage would have about 450 spots for faculty, students and visitors."
Poorly written or our they going to charge faculty to park where they parked for free before? It will be interesting how many students will pay to park.
