I threw this out in a American Conference topic but it deserves to be here as well. Improved conference, greater national exposure should equate to a larger enrollment from the I35 corridor that has been established for out of state tuition relief. If not this year but next and the following years.

I don't think we can truly capitalize on the I-35 corridor without Football. With that said, I also don't think most incoming students or parents will know the difference between the MVC and the AAC. However, thanks to Marshall and the resurgence of basketball, they have probably heard we are pretty damn good at that sport. However, we are now rubbing shoulders with other peer schools, some of which have fantastic credentials. That's got to help with faculty recruiting, research $, etc over the long haul.
