East Side vs. West Side

To this day when I go out east probably 20% of people are masked. What is that all about?

New retail/dining dollars from out-of-state corporations and their RE site selection consultants say east side, and it is not even really close. The disparity is massive, at least in the scale/context of the Wichita market.

West side is more uniform, from a single-family home perspective, as well as in a demographic context. On the east side you go from getting shot on your porch as a weekend activity, to the Kochs and Wichita County Club, in like three football fields or something. Way, WAY more diverse out east, if you're a weirdo who is fixated on race.

Like cool, old homes/neighborhoods? East side all the way. West side has no compliment whatsoever to College Hill. West side is a total bust in that regard unless you consider all or one of the 11,493 Westlink or Westlink Village additions as a "cool, old neighborhood".

So Riverside and Delano are now East side? You need a Maps course of study.

Yeah, the West side definitely includes Riverside and Delano. The best side is the North Side though - that way you can choose to go either side.

Sometimes Uniquely west side would have to be the development of recreational waterfront homesites in the last 25 years. It really started with Barefoot Bay followed by Emerald Bay. Most of these homes are in the 500k to 1m plus price range. Sandcrest has followed and homes there are in the same price range. East side has nothing to compare.

For my money I think I would take Les Eck’s 160 acre home and lake over either of the Koch places.

My comment regarding this comment “squinty eyed bastards” sounding racist was “sarcasm”, and was referencing the traditional racist comment associated to “slanty eyed bastards”. Close but not the same thing. Racism is thrown around a lot these days, Therefore, I said you sounded racist. Since nobody understood my drift, I obviously missed the mark.
