Can't get out to the country. Will have to wait for the plows to run.

It was an impressive storm last night. Probably a better lightning display than anything much last year. Almost had a 3/4” of moisture (rain/ice/snow). Could have been impressive snow amounts with the right timing.

alao had 3/16” icing on trees. Luckily so far we have not seen the real high winds or there could be a lot of tree limbs down and maybe power outages.

I heard the thunder as I was settling in for slumber, but didn't notice any hail here. Sounded like maybe a light sleet possibly. I didn't want to get out of bed and verify.

I don't think it was hail but a pretty heavy sleet. You really hear it on our skylight in the master bathroom and hitting our north facing windows.

Not only did I not hear myself thinking last night I don't see myself thinking any time soon. But thanks for giving me hope. Now if you will excuse me I think I lost my spider ring looking for my free prize in my Cracker Jacks.

That was quite the barrage of noise. Thankfully the kids bedrooms have south facing windows or it would’ve been an even longer night. The lightning and thunder was impressive and SB is right, it challenged much of last years storm season for its display which is quite sad.

5 inches sounds about right. That layer of ice underneath is the *****. Otherwise I’m not so sure the roads are much worse than the last one.

On the family front, this has been easy on us. My wife isn't used to getting much more than 5".

Pretty sure you meant qualify, but you don't quality either, so I guess it works either way.

Hey, don't put words in my mouth. I am a legit candidate, except for the basement thing. Give me the respect Cold deserves. Jeez.

Compared to what we have SHOXAAC more than meets the quality standards. In fact, his quality may well be to good for the majority of voters.
