According to articles on the trade, the Chiefs were offering him in the 20 Million range, and he was demanding more than Adam's 27 Million. If the Chiefs couldn't come up with his demands, they felt uncomfortable keeping him on the team, and were concerned if they didn't trade him now, that he would become a locker room distraction this year. I would say that some people (Chiefs leaders) who "know him" ( I admittedly don't), felt he lacked at least to a degree "depth of character". That's all I was saying.
To Tyreek, making the most Wide Receiver money in the NFL was extremely important to him (for a while anyway, until he is passed up by the next highly paid WR). I've never had 20 Million, but it seems to me that when you get up to that kind of money, it's difficult to spend it all (but I don't willy nilly, waste and spend money and some people do).

Here's another possible player (they need good Cornerbacks who because of his age, may not be really expensive that the Chiefs might be able to sign with the money they've received from recent trades/restructures.

Professional athletes are also judged by wins and success. Going to Miami is a big risk as he will now play with a QB far below that of what he has had. Again, I said some people care more about money than success and that's fine. I just get sick of those who think everyone would do the same. I've had opportunities to make much more than I was making at the time and turned them down because I prefer to enjoy what I do and who I do it with. As an athlete, that would be not losing and being put it the right opportunities to succeed. An extra 10 to 15k in my life makes a much larger change than 7M in his. If he's not a complete idiot, he and his kids and his kids kids are already set for life. I do not have that luxury.
Hill chose money over success. That's fine. Pointing that out doesn't make one a bad thing. I also don't think Hill is a bad person, but he has shown to have some maturity issues as someone else has pointed out.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

NFL is changing the overtime rules for the postseason games - https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...f-rules-change
PALM BEACH, Fla. -- NFL owners approved a modified proposal for overtime Tuesday that will guarantee each team a possession, but only in the postseason.
The rule for regular-season games, which allows the team with the first possession to win if it scores a touchdown, will remain unchanged.
A majority of NFL decision-makers arrived at The Breakers hotel this week willing to adjust overtime in some fashion, largely in reaction to public outcry after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills in overtime during the divisional playoff round with an opening-possession touchdown.
The Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles proposed a mandatory possession for both teams in all games, regular season and in the playoffs, but competition committee chairman Rich McKay said there was not enough support among owners to pass the rule unless it was amended to postseason only. Ultimately it passed by a vote of 29-3.
If the score remains tied in the postseason after each team has had a possession, the game will be decided in traditional sudden death. Not responsible for damage from posts that sail over the reader's head.

What they ought to do is each team has to select five of their players that were on the field at the end of regulation. Then, alternating from team-to-team, each player attempts to kick a 30 yard field goal and the team with the most field goals at the end of the shootout wins.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!

So the rule that the Chiefs proposed a few years ago now has support because it didn't impact Tom Brady?Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

He was apparently jogging on I-595 and decided to cross traffic where he was hit by a dump truck. Tragic, but why was he there?Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

The XFL has hired former coaches Bob Stoops, Wade Phillips, and Jim Haslett to coach. There will be eight teams and the other 5 teams will be coached by former NFL players - Terrell Buckley, Hines Ward, Rod Woodson, Reggie Barlow and Anthony Becht.
