              • The story gets even better....

In between the first and second rounds, Daly was spotted taking in all the surrounding area has to offer. According to TMZ Sports, Daly had dinner at a local Hooters restaurant and hit up a casino. He spotted with a pack of cigarettes and a Diet Coke while he plays the slots.
John Daly made an appearance at the PGA Championship and was in the lead in the first round for a brief moment.

                  • How about JT coming from 7 back to win the PGA Championship.

                    • Mito’s collapse was Jean Van De Velde light.

He was absolutely not ready for the moment.

Completely. He even admitted he was really nervous the whole day. Thought he was gracious in his interview afterwards. He didn't have to speak and it would have been easy for him just to slide away and disappear. Felt bad for him.

That was incredible. On that course though I wasn't completely shocked someone came from behind to snag it. 7 shots is a ton though. I just had a feeling the course was going to rip peoples hearts out over the weekend when the conditions changed and it did. JT was steady and composed and took advantage. I was rooting for Zalatoris but I am also a fan of JT so it was good to watch. Really fun and engaging weekend of golf.

Not quite JVDV but you are right, he wasn’t ready for the moment. He is a talented player and will be back.

I was there Sunday...cool course and great atmosphere. Stayed between the fairways of 2 & 7 and saw a lot of great shots and players. Saw three spectators hit as well. One in the shoulder, one in the knee, and a guy in a KU hat almost right in the junk. Tommy Fleetwood hit him and just gave him a handshake. Other spectators received signed glove or ball. Went to 17 when the leaders where coming and saw JT make the birdie in regulation to get within one and also saw him make the birdie to take the lead in the playoff. Good times yesterday!

Awesome! Sounds like a great time. And I am glad to see Fleetwood take out the KU fan. New favorite golfer...
