I am pro-vaccine, and will continue to be regardless of attempts to shout me down or have multiple people pointing out how I'm wrong. Sorry, but I disagree with that evaluation. Vaccines actually make covid "just like the flu". So far there has been one person who has said they got a vaccine because of me. That's a success.

I realize there is a significant portion of the population who will not be swayed to get a vaccination under any circumstances. Fortunately, the Delta variant is making great progress at getting those people some immunity. Unfortunately, that's going to lead to a number of avoidable deaths and increases in insurance premiums to cover a lot of avoidable hospital stays due to covid infections.

We will all pay for the costs of hospitalizing those who refuse to protect themselves. I think those who refuse vaccinations should have some skin in the game and have some financial liability for their decision, instead of asking the rest of us to cover their medical expenses.

100% aware of it brother. The point I was making was... even though there are shortages around the country, we are still breaking hospitalization records almost daily.

So they are stretching staff thinner; thus, discussing staff shortages really has no applicability to the pandemic discussion.

Most hospitals are for profit and were run lean before the pandemic, now they're even more lean. If we could triple the staff tomorrow it wouldn't change a thing; the unvaxxed will still be rolling in by the truckload sick and dying.

Yeah, we all know how to stop the virus. Everyone needs to get vaccinated. But until children under 12 get approved for the vaccination, that's not going to happen. And there are always going to be those that refuse to get vaccinated and those that can't get vaccinated.
