Kind of funny, a 2 time All American from Tennessee torched everyone at the 800m mark and coasted home.

All the top 6 or so were gassed at the end. Our girls look fresh, boding well for the 10k outdoors.

Good job by the ladies making the Nationals!

16:04 won the race. By comparison, Tonya had a 16.01 coming into the race.

Lack of experience in big, tactical races obviously hurt us here.

Couldn't get the places, but I suspect Aliphine finished around 11th and Tonya 17th or so.

Aliphine finished 8th, Tonya 13th. Pretty good for their first 5k nationals appearance. You are right this should bode well for the 10k. Don't forget Aliphine is only a sophomore! Great job ladies!
