Fanny Hakanson from Alvik Sweden but had to venture overseas to get it.

The thing is I haven't seen anything about this or heard anything about this outside of this Swedish article. So this one might be a wait and see if she gets here deal.

Any thoughts on Fanny after wathing her highlights from 2015?

Seems like she really likes to take the ball to the rack and sees the floor really well. I was probably most impressed with her passing. That 3-point line they were using in that video was deeper than what she will play with in NCAA ball.

It is a little diffiucult to say how tall Fanny is but I am going to guess around 5-10 maybe. We could use better size at the guard position. Now watch her turn out to be 5-4.

Update: According to this website Fanny is a 5-8 shooting guard. Perhaps will be a combo guard at WSU although I see her running the point. I also found out that Fanny's birthdate is 11-03-1997 so she will be 20 years old this fall.

Ericka is ready but her previous school is not cooperating. @WuDrWu: believes she will eventually be at Wichita State but may have to get some Legal Beagles involved. See Leticia Romero vs K-State for an example.

Perhaps not a bad move by Ericka. She was going to have to sit out next year at WSU anyway although it would have been nice to have her learning Coach K's system for a year and not burning another year of eligibility. The door is still open of the Shocks to pick her up for an additional 2-years if there is still mutual interest at the end of next season. I expect Ericka will keep her options open, however there is a chance she could commit this coming November but she certainly doesn't have to.

HCKA mentioned that Fanny was from a basketball family. This article is a bit dated (2013) but gives some background on her family. Mostly about her older brother who apparently is a very good player.

Nancy mulkey a 6'9 center at Oklahoma university is transferring, would be a great addition to help clog the middle
