In another sign that Keitha Adams was popular in El Paso it looks like El Paso named a street in her honor.

Sounds like Coach Adam's Associate Head Coach, Ewa Laskowski, will be joining Coach K at Wichtia State.

So it sounds like Ewa Laskowska's first name is pronounced "Ava" if I heard the UTEP AD correctly.

I have to beleive that joining the AAC was a big factor in Keitha Adams' decision to take the Wichita State job. Just one that could not be publicly expressed at the time of her hiring.

In her address to the UTEP media in the above video Coach Keitha said that perhaps it was time she needed a new challenge to move on to.

Well now that the move to the AAC is official she has it.

Ewa Laskowska have been officially hired as a member of Coach Keitha Adams staff. She will fill the role of Associate Head Coach, the same role she filled for the past 4 years.

Sounds like we may have some international players in our future. IIRC we had a Russian player a number of years back who had to return home due to a family health or medical situation. However, it hasn't been a real common occurrence that I can remember.

According to the goShockers.com 2017-18 roster Kelli Willingham Bagley will also join Coach Keitha on her Wichita State staff. A former star player for UTEP at point guard Kelli was an assistant on the UTEP staff for the past 2 years.

Coach Keitha Adams has completed her coaching staff with the addition of Bill Damuth who was also on her staff at UTEP. BTW, UTEP did hire Keitha's replacement on April 24th.

So Keitha has now brought her entire staff with her from UTEP.
