If she's looking for assistant coaches, I can think of a couple. ��

I think there is a good chance her long-time assistant, Ewa Laskowska, who has been her Associate Head Coach at UTEP in recent years could very well get the UTEP head coaching position. While Keitha offered Ewa the opportunity to be her top assistant at WSU, right now she is the interim head coach at UTEP and the UTEP AD has said he hoped she would apply for the head coaching position.

I'm sure Keitha would love to have any suggestions you have for her.

Laskowska played and coached for Adams at Independence JC and followed her to UTEP. Laskowska was given a lot of credit for recruiting other foreign players at UTEP (and the subsequent building them into a nice program) although Adams had recruited Laskowska also. I don't know how much this would affect WSU recruiting.

The Lady Shocks only recruit in the Class of 2017, 6-3 Lauren Brocke out of Boise, Idaho has asked for and been granted her LOI release and will be attending Colorado State instead. I wish her luck.

Not sure how big a get she was for the Lady Shocks. She averaged 9.8 PPG and 6.5 RPG this past season. Okay numbers but not perhaps not that outstanding for a 6-3 high school player.

However, it does add to the dearth of players that the Shocks will have after the 8 seniors on next year's roster move on.

So right now Coach K has 10 players returning assuming Jaleesa Chapel makes it back and no other defections among returning players. As things stand right now only Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage and Kayla Williams will remain from the Jody Adams' players at the end of next season.

Coach K will have as many as 5 scholarships to use this year and an additional 8 next year assuming no redshirts of existing players which would seem unlikely.
