Big homer from Syd McKinney ties the game at 2-2. Hopefully that takes some pressure off and wakes up the bats.

No doubt that will help take some pressure off but sounds like Longwood does have a quality #1 in the circle. So the Shocks definitely don't want to relax too much.

Apparently Jessie Garcia aggravated an injury from last week and the Shocks subbed in Lanie Brown to catch and it hasn't gone well. Jordyn Pipkin on to pitch as well.

No boxscore, and it may be awhile before there is one. I suspect the boxscore we see on the website is generated automatically by the LiveStats app (StatBroadcast). The version of LS found by shocks02 was a crippled version of the real deal, and no auto-boxscore is a result of the unreal deal.

For Erin, three hits, two walks, one hit batter, and three wild pitches with four strikeouts in 3.2 innings. She threw 80 pitches. Oh, and an error.

For Jordyn in 3.0 innings, four hits, a walk, and three Ks.

Haff shut out the Illiini for 5.1 innings and then Delce came in to relieve (for no particular reason). Haff re-entered when Delce quickly got in trouble.
