        • Tying run to the plate. And that being Hayley Lee who has 25 home runs on the season to the plate. Unbelievable.

              • Bailey is a bit irritated with ol’ Ray Charles behind the plate, but it doesn’t matter….

                • I don't think this approach will work well against Oklahoma. The have a whole team of Hayley Lee's to navigate through.

Maybe we can stun them by starting Martinez

Time to acquire some house money. As I told Doc this afternoon, OU is beatable. Not highly probable but not totally impossible either. One inning, one at-bat, one pitch at a time.

Agree, but will they have anything left in the tank tomorrow? Today and for that matter Friday's game all had to be qutie an energy drain.

But only the second time in a regional final I think. The last being in 2018 at Arkansas. The last time their post seaon chances weren't cancelled.

Not sure comparing baseball and softball piching loads is at all comparable.

On Friday, USF's Georgina Corrick pitched 6 innings in a 1-0 loss to top seed and host Florida. Earlier today Corrick pitched a 7 inning no-hitter to lead the Bulls to a 5-0 win over Baylor. Tonight Corrick pitched a 7 inning 3-hit shut out in the Bulls 1-0 win over South Alabama to earn a rematch with Florida in the regional finals. Any guesses on who will pitch for USF tomorrow? Athough hard to believe Corrick would pitch two games tomorrow which is what will be required for USF to win the regional. But who knows. USF doesn't have much to backup Corrick with.

BTW, UCF is also in the regional finals against Florida State.

So the AAC has had a very nice run this post season. However, the AAC teams do not have the pitching depth that many of these P-5 conference teams have. UCF probably has the best 1-2 punch in the circle of the AAC teams with White and Mancha.

It will be interesting to see what the Shockers will do tomorrow. OU really lit up Erin McDonald for 8 runs in her 1 inning of work when the Shocks played OU at the end of the regulars season so I don't think she is an option. The Sooners haven't seen Caitlyn in either of the games against the Shockers this season so maybe the Shocks start her in the 1st game tomorrow and see how she does with Bailey ready to come in if and as needed. Although the Sooners are probably not that concerned about it one way or the other.
