Wow....no lesson learned I guess. Shocks just horrible in set 2.

Seems like we blocked a lot of balls in Set 2, but almost everyone of them deflected out-of-bounds.

Now we've done it again. Given a weaker opponent CONFIDENCE.

Hopefully, Lambo has some adjustments/motivation up his sleeve during halftime.

Nice win for the shockers, i'm guessing most the practice this week was focusing on Ill. St. so I expect much more of a game plan for that match. Hopefully we show up and play our best.

Not a great effort, but at least they won. Hopefully tomorrow they can stay focused and continue their winning ways. I didn't think they looked that bad tonight outside of the second set, but the bullseye grows larger with each win.

We need one of our victims to be a Top 25 RPI team. UNI has the highest RPI (actually RKPI) at #28. UNI victories are good for us. Our RPI would improve more if UNI beat us than if we beat them; UNI's RPI would improve more if they lost. The RPI is a joke.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

MSU wins a tough game 5 by 18-16 score. MSU survived one match point and ILS survived 2 match points.

I guess I got what I wished for in a tough 5 set match.

However, I expect ILS to be very tought tomorrow night.

Katie Niggemeyer not playing tonight. Attending the wedding of her older brother in New York today.

Good opportunity for Stephanie Tokarz to step up tonight and give the Shocks a strong performance.
