UCF picked up a nice win over what was a 3-0 Florida Atlantic squad. Memphis managed their first win of the season against UT-Martin. UConn seems like a top 3 or 4 team in this league.

Our OOC schedule isn't very good so it's hard to say how good they in relation to the rest of the conference. I believe we were picked to finish 7th in the conference, which is a step up from previous years. I think 4th or 5th place is realistic and something I'd be pleased with. Well that explains their slow start. Volleytalk reporting some kind of freak injury that required Tommy John surgery which all but ends her career. If correct, she won't be able to play for this season or the next. Missouri State had beaten Ohio State (preseason #18) the day before. East Tennessee State blitzed ACC bottom dweller Virginia 3-0.Comment
