That is a great picture of beer and a sunset. It almost brings a tear to your eye. So beautiful. Maybe not as beautiful as the golfer in Humor but probably more attainable.

Great picture of a sunset, but I missed the beer part. All I saw was some bottles of Mexican water. :D BEER SNOB ALERT!!

UCF picked up a nice win over what was a 3-0 Florida Atlantic squad. Memphis managed their first win of the season against UT-Martin. UConn seems like a top 3 or 4 team in this league.

          AAC:
          UCF 3 Florida Atlantic 1
          UConn 3 Iona 0
          East Carolina 0 Providence 3
          USF 1 Stepehen F Austin 3
          Memphis 3 UT-Martin 0
          Tulane 3 Grambling 0

          Opponents:
          Belmont 3 UT-Arlington 2

Our OOC schedule isn't very good so it's hard to say how good they in relation to the rest of the conference. I believe we were picked to finish 7th in the conference, which is a step up from previous years. I think 4th or 5th place is realistic and something I'd be pleased with. Any better would be awesome.

Can't complain too much about those results although I would have liked to have seen more from Temple. Colgate is 4-0 now but not sure how strong the competition was last weekend. In any case, Temple went down pretty meekly losing 20, 14 and 15.

Don't understand Temple struggling as badly as they are. They should be better, but it certainly seems they're having problems in the back row for sure.

Has it been noted that Cincinnati lost Jordan Thompson, their best player, for the season? Well, I guess it has been now.

Well that explains their slow start. Volleytalk reporting some kind of freak injury that required Tommy John surgery which all but ends her career. If correct, she won't be able to play for this season or the next. Terrible news as she was perhaps the most talented player I've ever seen in Koch Arena.

UNI is 4-0 after beating USC last night. In the 5th against #13 Kentucky (whom Creighton blasted last night). Kentucky 15-9 in the 5th.

Texas State 3 Cincinnati 2 (ouch all year missing Jordan Thompson)
                            Temple 3 St. Johns 0

Lipscomb rallies from 2 sets down to beat Missouri State (23) (11) 19 24 10.

Missouri State had beaten Ohio State (preseason #18) the day before. East Tennessee State blitzed ACC bottom dweller Virginia 3-0.

Wow! That is a very good win for Lipscomb. I think both Lipscomb and ETSU will prove to be decent RPI wins for the Shocks by the end of the year.
