    Let's just beat 'em!

Why is women's basketball completely seeded but not volleyball? There can't be that much more money in hoops, can there?

This falls under the same category as Jody making so much more money than Lambo. Very strange.

Way to go ladies. Way to beat down another Kansas opponent. It's just what we do.

Gonna be difficult tomorrow as we get screwed yet again at Nebraska.
There was a year or two where our RPI was such that we probably should have hosted a sub-regional and the NCAA treated us badly. This year wasn't one of those. When WSU isn't a high seed, we are most likely going to go to a Nebraska or Texas.

I think that more than minimizing expenses, the NCAA wants the fans of the teams to be able to travel to watch the teams play. After re-reading your post, this may be what you are trying to say. I took it as trying to save money for the institutions instead of for the fans and followers.

Maybe if we steal a big game like this and make some deep tourney runs, we'll become the hunted? Just win!

I know the parameters. And I know the same schools host every year. That's what makes it screwy. Sorry if I thought that was worth repeating.

The twins will be all we can handle tonight. Why can't we have 6'3" high flying athletic triplets grow up in Andover? :)

From the NCAA website under Fairness and Integrity, "We are committed to enforcing the rules, creating fair competition, and establishing a positive competitive experience for student-athletes across the country". Holding competitions on home courts of the same schools year after year does not fulfill the commitment to fairness. While I agree that the NCAA Committee is not singling out WSU, the process, particularly as used for women's sports, cannot be characterized as creating fair competition.
