Really good Kentucky team we're trying to hang with.....14-11 UK in set 2.

Mikaela has 6 kills hitting .333 That's darned good against this team.

18-12. Timeout Shocks. UK is a legit top 20 team.

Boy, if we could have 1 more Mikaela Raudsepp please? Holy cow.

We're going to have to find someone else that can score. MR has 9 kills on 19 swings, Mash and Driskill have 5 on 31 (5 errors).

Well there's some things to like and others not so much. Mikaela Raudsepp is a stud. Emily Hiebert will be (and she's good already). The littles not really holding up their end so far, and defensively we haven't been that strong at the net.

Also felt like the team kind of packed it in late (not unusual for such a young team). We've played 5 freshmen, 1 sophomore and 4 juniors. Plenty of time to get better. There's a lot of talent out there, but someone other than Mikaela is going to have to be able to score some.

Sure would love to get 1 game her to bolster their confidence.

I could get the broadcast on my iMac, but when I tried to do the same with my iPad, I had the same issue - three options to purchase varying flavors of ShockerVision.

Mike said during the break that only one of our ten non-conference matches is against a team that finished last year with an RPI greater than 100. Going to be a challenging early season for a young team.

Around the Valley, UNI loses to Alabama 3-1 (19-25, 28-26, 24-26, 21-25). Alabama was picked 5th in the SEC. Drake beats UMKC in 5 (25-20, 25-21, 22-25, 22-25, 15-12). Indiana State beat Wright State 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 25-19). Loyola was routed by Rhode Island (picked 5th in the A10) 3-0 (25-7, 25-20, 25-18). SIU was competitive against the ACC #3 pick North Carolina but lost 3-0 (25-18, 25-18. 25-23). Bradley lost a heartbreaking 5 set match to Hampton in Chicago (Hampton picked to repeat in the MEAC) 24-26, 25-13, 25-17, 21-25, 15-13). Missouri State was routed by WAC favorite New Mexico State 3-0 (28-26, 25-17, 25-15).

Illinois State is playing their first match and UNI and Indiana State are playing their 2nd matches as I type.

UNI leads A-10 2nd pick St. Louis, in St. Louis, early 11-8.

Illinois State is playing Central Arkansas in Oregon. Watch here if you're interested. Can't get stats, looks like ISU just lost a set for what it's worth.

Indiana State looking to go to 2-0 on the young season, up 2-0 on Akron. Akron is picked last in the MAC. Wright State was picked last in the Horizon. The Indiana State tournament might be the worst volleyball tournament in the world.

That Oregon court is the most stupid thing I've ever seen. The NCAA should step in and tell them to change it. It's annoying and distracting, to say the least.

The Sugar Bears are 59-4 the last 2 seasons. They are solid. Illinois State looks very competitive. Wish I knew the score.

UNI and St. Louis go the break tied at 1.
