What I am saying and you are doing a good job of substantiating for me is that all this Creighton vitriol is mostly just talk not backed by any walk.

Personally, I'm with Coach Lamb on this and am pleased that we can still keep a strong program like Creighton on our schedule. Especially when KSU and KU refuse to play us in the regular season. Kudos to the BlueJays for wanting to continue playing us. Hope it continues in most of our team sports.

Really '72? I guarantee you if you go up to all the fans in attendance at the volleyball match on Sunday they'll tell you their undying love for sCUm. It's not that anyone doesn't hate Creighton. It's just that it's volleyball. Just like you won't see Wilkens piled full of fans for softball games against sCUm, or women's basketball against sCUm, etc. Having the game on a Sunday afternoon during NFL season is a bit of an issue. Simple as that.

Creighton is coming to Wichita with no return game, as it should be. They should be lucky to play WSU at any chance possible. They want to emulate us as much as possible.

Would've been better than Sunday afternoon IMO. They get good crowds against good opponents on Friday nights every year, even with high school football covering most of the schedule on those Friday nights.

They mentioned they upgraded and overhauled everything tech wise in the arena. I assume this includes the ShockerVision equipment. It's about damn time. Good to hear.

By the way, I went straight from work tonight, dodged some lightning bolts, and attended the match. The scoreboard was impressive. Very sexy.

The girls looked really good, especially the first 2 sets. The 3rd set was nearly a disaster at the end, when I thought we were gonna blow a huge lead and drop a set. But the ladies willed their way to victory. It's always nice sweeping and owning those Bares.
