We are also probably going to have to find more production out of our outsides. Emily, Ashlyn, Katie and Sam were a combined 25-17-93 for a .094 hitting percentage which just may not be good enought to get it done against KU. Katie was probably the most efficent of the outsides at 5-2-14 = .214 but Emily and Ashlyn get the bulk of the swings. Time for Emily to step up her game. If she is going to end her career tomorrow she may as well go out with guns a blazin'.
Ashley (23-1-39 = .564) was oustanding and Elizabeth (14-5-34 = .265) was decent in the middle. But you know they are going to have KU's full attention.
These two teams should be somewhat familiar with each other as they scrimmaged last spring in the All-Purpose gym in Koch Arena.Last edited by 1972Shocker; November 30, 2012, 10:23 PM.

Need to eliminate any long runs by KU as much as possible. The Hogs had 7-0 runs in both of the 1st sets today. The Shocks can win this but they need to be pretty consistent from beginning to end.

This is where Lambo educates me - what happened to change the outcome?
BTW, do know if there is a way to watch a video replay of the Arkansas match?

Bluejays dug themselves into a deep hole in the second set, with the Gophers scoring the first 7 points, and while Creighton was able to close the gap somewhat at times, they weren't able to overcome the deficit, and Minnesota won the second set 25-17, tying the match at a set apiece.

KU (with a big assist from Shocker fans) did a good job supporting the 1st and 2nd round play in Lawrence. However, I wonder what kind of attendance we would have drawn if these rounds had been held at Koch Arena.
Would the KU - WSU final have sold out? Maybe not a total sell out, but I bet we would have come close.
Nebraska will no doubt sell out the Devaney Center in the future which I think will seat about 7,000 for VB.Last edited by 1972Shocker; December 6, 2012, 07:03 PM.
