I believe Sarah will be here for the trip. I hope the news is bigger than that.

UAB released their schedule.
Their non-con schedule didn't really impress me. Auburn, Cincy, and Samford look like the three toughest teams they face next season.
Their schedule didn't really clear up the byes. We do play them twice this year. Again all Friday/Sunday games except for a couple of Wednesday matches but there are still only two matches per week. The Wednesday matches just replaced a Friday or a Sunday match that week.
9/27 Home- Tulsa
9/29 Away- Memphis
10/2 Away- Tulane <--Wednesday match
10/4 Home- WSU 7PM (eastern?) (Friday)
10/11 Home- Temple
10/13 Home- Charlotte
10/18 Away- UTSA
10/20 Home- Tulane
10/25 Away- Tulsa
10/27 Away- WSU 6PM (eastern?)
11/1 Home- North Texas
11/3 Home- ECU
11/6 Home- Memphis <--Wednesday match
11/10 Away- Rice (Sunday)
11/15 Away- FAU
11/17 Away- South Florida
Last three games being away bites for them. The teams they play twice- Tulsa, Memphis, Tulane, and WSU- are the first four games on their conference schedule.

Originally posted by WuDrWu View PostPure speculation, but if I had to wager, I'd say it's the official announcement that WSU will host the 2024 AAC Volleyball Tournament. Pure guess.
9/14 (Sat) Nebraska. We will probably be playing Arizona State this weekend. Nebraska plays Arizona State on Friday 9/13.
9/20 (Fri) Northern Colorado (UNC). Omaha and Cal Poly will also be here this week (Thur-Sat)
The AAC post season tournament will be 8 teams

There's a picture posted on X of the team practicing in Brazil. Pretty clearly there are 16 dressed players. I wonder who the 16th is? There are 13 on the roster and I'm assuming Sarah Barham and Abby Whatton are there too. That would be 15. Who is 16?

Actually, I think there may be as many as 18 players dressed and possibly 1 who is not dressed. There are the 12 on the court. 1 behind the left baseline, 2 on the far sideline (one of them appears to be sitting against the wall mostly hidden by the net players on the right side of the court), and 3 on the near sideline (inlcuding the redhead sitting at the table which I think may be Reagan Anderson.
I was trying to find Gabi Maas as she has a distinctive body type. Gabi does not appear to be on the court. She might be the mostly obscured player squatting against the wall on the far side of the court. However, the girl in the black sweat suit standing next to the small blue table on the near side looks very much like Gabi.Last edited by 1972Shocker; May 28, 2024, 09:20 AM.

I hope they are having a great time both on and off the court. It looks like it.

Rough math....please correct where I screw up.
Lambo announced 8 signees plus transfers Sarah Barham, Abby Whatton and HS Sydney Lafferty.
The current roster has 13 listed. Newbies Sarah Musial and Alyssa Gonzales are included in those 13. 13 + 11 - 2 (already on roster) = 22 total student athletes. 19 pictured + Gabi. Only 2 newbies didn't make the trip?
Now to identifying the pic:
B1 Haley Wolfe
B2 Morgan Stout
B3 Emerson Wilford
B4 Alyssa Gonzales
B5 Izzy Strand
B6
B7
B8 Sarah Barham

RH: Lamb Plans On An "Active And Prosperous" Trip
https://goshockers.com/news/2024/5/2...rous-trip.aspx
According to this article Grace Hett and Olivia Brown, both defensive specialists are on the trip.
Gabi is definitely not playing. Not sure if she made the trip though.
Hett and Brown are, unexpectedly, part of a group Lamb is watching closely on the trip. Returning libero Gabi Maas, who led WSU with 496 digs in 2023 is out with an injury.
My guesses:
B1 Haley Wolfe
B2 Morgan Stout
B3 Emerson Wilford
B4 Alyssa Gonzales
B5 Izzy Strand
B6 Nadia Wasilewski
B7 Simone Grieser
B8 Sarah Barham
B9 Maddie Wilson
B10 Abby Whatton
B11 Sarah Musial
F1 Brooklyn Leggett
F2 Katie Galligan
F3 Grace Hett
F4 Annalie Heliste
F5 Olivia Brown
F6 Reagan Anderson
F7 Gracie Morrow
F8 Allie Paulsen
M1 Gabi Maas
M2 Ava Anderson
M3 Sydney Lafferty
Not sure I have aced it but I think I have a passing grade.Last edited by 1972Shocker; May 29, 2024, 12:18 PM. Reason: Corrected to Add Sydney Lafferty as 3rd Player Not on Brazil Trip
