At least the Shockers played three ranked teams at PV and won one of those matchups and went to extras in another.

The Shockers still have Arkansas (2), Missouri (2), and Oklahoma State, all ranked, and Nebraska (2), just outside the Top 25, on their schedule before the AAC begins.

Field conditions. After overnight rains, the first two games on Saturday were canceled. The field was finally readied for the rest of the day. Thus my question, No tarp?

The last game on Saturday finished at 1225 am Sunday. That is without playing the two missing games. Also, teams have room and board budgets and travel arrangements. Staying an extra day will be impractical for most teams. They are not a three-hour bus drive away from campus.
