Wow. Auburn just beat our tails in every facet of the game. They haven't really been challenged much this season so far, but we did nothing to change that. Auburn scored with EASE all set.

25-15 makes it sound closer than it was.

Outhit .292 to -.077, 8 block assists to 1, just a lopsided game but it sounds (again, no coverage) like Auburn it hitting over us a lot.

Gotta start somewhere....grind away, stay in the set and see if we can play long enough to find something that works.

Finally found the floor a couple times early in the 2nd set. 4-2 Shocks early but this doesn't feel like some of the other matches the Shocks have eventually come back to either make close or win....hopefully I am wrong.

Long, long rally goes to Auburn. 4-3

Can't seem to put any points together, but frankly Auburn is quite a bit stronger above the net according to Mike.

BUT, the ladies are fighting and hanging in there, up 12-11 now. Service error ties it at 12. Just cannot afford many of those tonight.

Cool, 3 straight points for the Shocks give them a 17-14 lead. Timeout Auburn. Feekin continues side out when they return.

              Shocks need a timeout.

Leading 18-14 they got a point that Mike called and GT counted, but for some violation that Mike couldn't see, they gave the point to Auburn. It was obvious the Shocks were rattled, and instead of 19-14 and a great chance to finish the set, it was 18-15. 2 more quick points and it's 18-17.

                Timeout Shocks.

Feekin to Andrade has been good this set. 20-18 but a service error by Church makes it 20-19 Shocks.

Another error from Auburn but ANOTHER net violation on WSU. Huge call.

                    Need another timeout imho.

                      Should have taken a timeout.

Tied at 21 we do take our second timeout. Getting this set is hugely important, emotionally, psychologically and physically.

                          (talking to myself)

Shocks DID close set 2, 25-23 and came out of the break and really controlled the 3rd set for the most part. Auburn closed to 14-13 but the Shocks ran out from there, winning 25-16.

                          On to game 4.

Not yourself, thanks for the updates. Was driving and relied on you. Rather suspenseful last 30 minutes not knowing how set 2 finished.

Shocks race out to a 6-1 lead in set 4. I don't think Auburn really knows how to react. They play a lot of freshmen, and after the first set tonight, they were 25-3 in sets on the season.

This is their first real adversity.

                                13-8 Shocks, timeout.
