Shocks even the match at 1-1 with a 25-21 win in Set 2. Shocks jumped out to an early 5 point lead, fought off a NIU rally and had a 21-14 lead late, but had to grind a litte to put the set away.
Still having a lot of trouble with serving accuracy as I have the Shocks with 8 service errors in the 2 sets. And in not like were firing bullets.
We also doesn't look to me like we are blocking very.
Jordan Hinkle struggling with her passing as she has a number of overpasses today.
Ashlyn Driskill not seeing any playing time today.

Shocks drop set 3 by score of 25-22.
The set was tied at 12 when NIU went on a 6-0 run that only ended when they made a hitting error.
Shocks did make a little run of their own to pull within 18-21 but again they had dug too deep of a hole.
Shocks have upped their service errors to 10 in today's 3 sets.
Shocks might be able to win this match but I'm not seeing a whole lot to hang my hat on. NIU simply looks like they are a little better than the Shocks.

About the only thing we have done consistently through our 1st two matches is to allow the opponents big runs.

Wow! Maybe that will get this group going. Shocks, behind Sam and Emily, pull out the 4th set 25-22.
Sam pretty much single handedly pull the Shocks back into the set/match. The Shocks won a great rally at 23-22 finished off by an Emily Adney kill, who followed that up with another great kill to finish of the set.
I have no clue how this 5th set may go, but the Shocks need to avoid giving up a big run as has been their habit so far this year.
